At Creative Continuum Therapy, QbCheck adds an objective, research-backed layer to your ADHD evaluation, helping your provider see the full picture alongside your history and symptoms. QbCheck is completed entirely via telehealth, available to clients anywhere in Arizona.
What Is QbCheck?
QbCheck is a computer-based test that measures the core symptoms of ADHD: hyperactivity, impulsivity, and inattention. Instead of relying on subjective checklists alone, QbCheck uses motion tracking and a continuous performance task to capture how you (or your child) focus, control impulses, and stay still during a structured task.
Your results are compared to others of the same age and sex, both with and without ADHD. This gives your provider objective data to use alongside your medical history and the other information gathered about your symptoms. QbCheck is one part of a full evaluation, not a stand-alone diagnosis.
Who Is QbCheck For?
QbCheck can be used for children, teens, and adults who are being evaluated for ADHD, or who are already diagnosed and monitoring treatment response. It's a good fit if you or your child are:
Being evaluated for ADHD for the first time
Starting or adjusting ADHD medication and want to track how it's working
Looking for objective data to complement clinical observation and history
There's no reading, language, or math involved, so the test isn't measuring academic skill. It's simply measuring attention, impulse control, and activity level.
How the Test Works
QbCheck takes 15 to 20 minutes to complete, but plan for at least 30 minutes total to allow for setup.

Set aside at least 30 minutes
Make sure you (or your child) are well rested and feel calm before starting
Start the test during the daytime
Use the bathroom beforehand. The test can't be paused once it begins
If your provider has instructed you to take ADHD medication before the test, be sure to do so

Find a quiet room where you won't be disturbed for the full test
Use a chair with a firm back that doesn't swivel, with no wheels or armrests
Children under 12 should use a stool with no swivel, armrests, or backrest

Use a laptop with a built-in webcam and an internet connection
Keep the laptop plugged in
QbCheck works best on the latest version of Chrome, Safari, or Microsoft Edge
QbCheck won't run on smartphones or tablets

An adult should be present in the room for the entire test.

Pre-Test Clinical Intake: Intake form covering history, symptoms, and functioning, completed at home before the visit
Assessment Appointment: the QbCheck test itself (15 to 30 min) plus a virtual clinician check-in and additional measures (30 to 45 min)
Results Review & Feedback: clinician reviews results, confirms findings, and builds a personalized plan (45 min)

Follow-Up Monitoring Package:
For clients who've already completed an initial QbCheck evaluation and want to monitor treatment progress over time.
Includes a brief pre-test interview, a 30-minute re-test, and a 30-minute results and progress review.
Can be repeated every 3, 6, 9, or 12 months.
$169, self-pay, 2 x 30-minute appointments
