Guiding Your Child Through Big Emotions
A One-Night, In-Person DBT Skills Workshop for Parents
Led by Shannon Killpack, LAC, ATR, CAS
Parenting a child with big emotions can feel overwhelming at times, but you don’t have to navigate those moments alone. Join us for an interactive, one-night workshop designed to help you build confidence and calm using key skills from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Together, we will explore practical tools for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and mindful communication.
You will learn how to stay grounded and connected during emotional storms, reduce reactive patterns, and foster mutual understanding in your relationship with your child. Walk away with strategies you can use right away to support your child’s growth while also caring for your own well-being.
