Thriving with Creative Expression in Therapy
At the heart of our practice is art therapy, our "special sauce" for supporting neurodivergent individuals from children to adults. While words can sometimes feel limiting, art creates a bridge where understanding and self-expression can help individuals process emotions, communicate more effectively, and build resilience. Art therapy provides a unique way for individuals to explore their inner world, find new ways to express themselves and strengthen their connections with others.
For children who struggle to articulate their feelings, a brushstroke, a sculpture, or even a simple drawing can become a language of its own. Through creative expression, they begin to feel seen, heard, and understood in ways that traditional therapy alone may not provide. But art therapy isn’t just for children—it offers teens and adults a pathway to explore their emotions, reduce anxiety, and develop deeper self-awareness.
At Creative Continuum, we blend creativity with evidence-based therapeutic practices, tailoring our approach to each individual’s needs. Whether it’s helping a child regulate emotions, guiding a teen through anxiety, or supporting a parent in strengthening their bond with their child, our work is rooted in empowerment, connection, and growth.

Helping Parents Navigate Their Child's Unique Needs
At Creative Continuum, we support parents in understanding and embracing their child’s neurodivergent experience - one step at a time, and always in partnership with the child.
We begin by helping you educate yourself about your child’s unique brain and behavior - so what once felt confusing becomes clearer. In tandem, your child is also learning about themselves: how their mind works, what they need to thrive, and how they fit and function in a world that isn’t always built for them.
Together, we integrate this understanding into everyday life - building routines, communication, and expectations that honor your child’s nervous system and foster meaningful connection.
We support both of you in learning how to regulate - navigating emotional waves, stress, and sensory overload with tools that are realistic and relational. And as confidence grows, we help your family advocate - so you can speak up, seek support, and stand strong in who you are, as individuals and as a team.
There is no one-size-fits-all path to parenting - or to growing up. At Creative Continuum, we walk alongside your family, creating space for every member to feel seen, understood, and empowered.

FAQs
What can I expect during my first session?
Your first session at Creative Continuum is all about getting to know you and understanding your unique needs. We’ll discuss your reasons for seeking counseling, any challenges you or your family are currently facing, and your goals for treatment. This session is a collaborative conversation designed to create a safe, supportive space where you can share openly and feel heard. Together, we’ll begin to develop a personalized plan that aligns with your experiences and sets the foundation for meaningful growth. Our goal is to ensure you leave your first session feeling understood, empowered, and hopeful about the path ahead.
Do you accept insurance, and how does billing work?
Creative Continuum is a private pay-only practice, which means we do not bill insurance directly. Our hourly rate may range from $175-225 and we are happy to provide a superbill for out-of-network clients, which you can submit for potential reimbursement from your insurance provider. We recommend contacting your insurance company to learn more about your out-of-network benefits and coverage for therapy services. If you have any questions about the reimbursement process or need guidance, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to support you and work with you to make therapy as accessible and affordable as possible. Additionally, we have partnered with Mentaya to help clients use their out-of-network benefits to save money on therapy. Use this tool below to see if you qualify for reimbursement for my services.
